J. S. Bach: Brandenburg Concerts I-VI, BWV 1046-1051
Since its foreign debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Ensemble Cordia, based in Bruneck, has developed a lively concert activity outside of South Tyrol, including at the Wiener Konzerthaus, at the Leipzig Bach Festival and in Grenoble (in collaboration with Le musiciens de Louvre), Budapest, Gothenburg, at the Stresa Festival and in Utrecht.
The cellist and ensemble leader Stefano Veggetti gives concerts with many international musicians such as Bijlsma, Bernardini, Dantone, l’Archibudelli, Höbarth, van Immerseel. The ensemble has recorded CDs for "Nuova Era", Opus111, Accent. Since autumn 2016 Veggetti has been artistic director of the “Baroque Academy Göteborgs Symfoniker”. With specialists from Gothenburg and musicians from our region, he will realize a long-awaited project on March 14th in the Forum. The ensemble plays all 6 Brandenburg concerts by J. S. Bach. This is going to be exciting!
